Title: Polish
Post by: HUTCHMAN on December 09, 2009, 08:15 PM
We are always discussing what polish to use on aluminium,Peek,Autosol etc, well i use, simply titled Autoglym"metal polish".Peek etc just give a polished aluminium finish, but the Autoglym stuff really does (for me)give it that edge, more like chrome.Does anyone else use it?i can't blow sunshine up it's ar#e enough.

I needed some chroming done but wouldnt have got it done this side of Christmas. In the end a buff up with a finishing mop and then a rub with Peek worked well enough.

just tried this on my Hutch XL24,the chrome is VERY old with fine scratches. It hasn't got rid of the scratches but shined it up a treat. All i'll say is it has a better result on aluminium,it's consistency is more like toothpaste,so not apparently, overly abrasive like Autosol.
