missfits welded me diamond back up perfect and donker is good on alloy to
as the pitting metal needs to be blasted then polished

hello men,
if its an alluminium frame then no probs mate, but itll have to be in a few wks as im still trying to finish off my school work and have final deadline at end of month.

if its steel, ill buy her off you if you get no joy in repairing it.

cheers

missfits, im absolutely horrified at your presumptions and will leave the site forever if you call me names again.

on a serious note, my welder is awsome with aluminium, replicating se type welds all day long, but we dont do much steel at work and he has offered to have a go, however i wouldnt let him loose on somebody elses stuff in case he melts it. and of course i want a quad.

kossak

If its an old school quad then it will either be cro-mo ( rare ) or Renolds 531 tubing  :daumenhoch:

rule of thumb is alluminium isnt magnetic whereas cromo, 531, and mild steel all are....small fridge magnet is what you need

i think
