Can anyone tell me what parts are needed or are compatible with Tuff I's. I have a pair that I need to refurbish, but am unsure if such things as spindles bearings, cones etc are still available.
Please help

Got absolutly no idea, but coastvl should know :daumenhoch:

Thanks Bill, I think I'll attack them this weekend and see what I can get out of the hubs.

I have pics here of the guts of my soon to be dyed tuff 1's.
The guts are Suntour and I'd check with some of the older bike shops around. I'm not sure what model the Tuff 1 guts are. I'll find out and let you know the exact model numbers.
I'm pretty sure some came with Bendix parts also. Again not 100% on that.

The coaster on mine is a bendix, version and I think Billy had posted exploded diagrams of these hubs.
I am unsure about the front plastic hub, if it has unique parts or are they generic which will be easier to source from other old hubs I have??
Cheers

I was told today that Suntour and Bendix parts are interchangeable. I know Shimano stuff does not fit.
The front's I have used parts from later wheels. Cones and axles won't be a drama but you'll have to find the right sized bearings.
PS , I hate building coasters. They are a pain in the butt! :D

whats with the seat tube on that Haro?
I got it yesterday for $40. I needed the forks more than the frame. I already have a 87 FST. Easy repair so I'm not fussed about it.
