Text taken from the S&M website:
I'm really pumped on how awesome these guys came out. With efforts still going, we collabed with STAY STRONG™and produced these very limited Redneck XLT's. I think it's amazing how we can come together as a BMX family and help a fallen rider. All funds and proceeds will be donated directly to the Stephen Murray Family Fund. Better swoop these up fast before they're gone.

Asssuming there are some being sold in the UK, ask 4down.
Even if they are sold out they can tell you which shops have them.

No, not mine (or my hand! lol). I got the photo off a blog somewhere. It said that they had heard that they S&M hubs were being made for them by profile!
Im guessing its the short pitch chain one. I cant wait to see more detail on the hub.

Not sure about the short link chain. Id need to see how it runs. The idea of shorter links that can deal better with a small driver is great, and from what they say, they are stronger too. It also gives you more teeth in contact (for a matching diameter cog) so less tooth wear?
I really like the idea of the lower headtube'ed frame. Its totally what kids are going to want, but NO, I wouldnt use one.
I LOVE the black hole dropouts. Id use them, for sure.

just watched the "WTF" video again, its amazing what they've done to create a bike which equals up to 20lbs without using Titanium. what i wouldnt do for that bike :smitten:, the short pitch chain, black-hole dropouts and the bearing less driver! :smitten: do you think we'll be seeing drivers as small as 7t or 6t? :-\ or is that impossible?

with a shorter link chain all the numbers will be different. The ratios will be the same but for maching diameters the tooth count will be different. I dont know the numbers/sizes, but say for a 23/8 size, the new set up might be 30/10. Same size cog, same chain clearance, but more teeth that run smoother. The main restriction is on the size of the rear cog cos there is a 14mm spindle and bearing to get inside it.

cool :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
might be worth getting a few of those bolts to keep as in 15 years time they will prob be rare and people will want them for builds :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
