Post by: Bettyswallocks on December 26, 2009, 08:29 PM
How hard is it to get tyres on/off....  :2gunsfiring_v1:

Never had to use a tyre lever on a KHE before

i run 2 sets and tyres seem ok to come of,if the rims are under tightened then they are a bigger circle and
can be tricky..the modern beads are stiff as hell on some tryes.

Are they an older set of Fly rims? I belive the latest batches of fly rims are a slightly smaller diameter than the older ones as they had this problem of tyres being difficult to fit and remove

Cheers

The rims 12-18 month old (secondhand wheel) so that explains summat

Havent been near it with a spoke key, the spokes seem tight and it runs straight, foldable mac2 KHE goes on/off my primo rim with no effort at all... virtually falls off!

Best chuck a couple of tyre levers in my rucksack...  :daumenhoch:
