Title: Decal Removal
Post by: Macmania on December 30, 2009, 03:04 PM
Just peeled some old destroyed decals off a f/f set. The downtube has been left with a thick sticky backing on it. Whats the best thing/solution to remove this ? Thanks  :)

Nail varnish remover and a sponge, be gentle and it should just wipe off  :daumenhoch:

WD40 breaks it down, and scrape away at it with something that won't scratch, something plastic or wood like a lolly stick

Blow torch, grand piano falling from a crane or if that fails an M16.

Otherwise I use white spirit.
