im thinking of getting a mini ramp in the garden....
i kinda know what i want and height but what are most common sizes in deck mainly
also what does and doesnt work in flat bottom
if i build 2 decks 5ft high whats the best flat bottom width as i dont want it to long so you got to wait 10 mins to get to the other side
or so tight you get dizzy
-
Around 10-12ft should do you nicely Dan. :daumenhoch:
-
nice one :daumenhoch: i got the sketch book out now...i hope she lets me build it now haha
-
Aha thats the tricky part, ive got all the space but she's not into it :tickedoff:
-
i did kinds mention it once ,in a throw away comment and got........... THAT LOOK....... you know the one.
i want it 24' x 30 ' both sides 5 or 6' high with big decks 8'min ..i cant go higher as i will annoy the neighbours
-
I'd def go for 6' if you can get away with it Dan, makes all the difference mate.
-
ye it will help alot ,once i get the nod or another LOOK
i will build a platform and get up to see what the neighbours will see then decide , that part of the 5ft factor..but it will be a slower ramp so...gotta wait
cheers

Any news on the Bellingham ramp Dave.....?
-
Dan, the footprint will have to come first bud - it's all about proportions :)
Once you have a plot agreed with the mrs, then we can work out what will fit :daumenhoch:

i had a go last night " a cool breeze blew throu the house"followed by silence ,but the seed is set,i will foresure get it sorted.
over the next few weeks will be out trying a few different mini ramps
