Acquired as a bare metal frame and forks a number of years ago, and has subsequently been re-sprayed and stickered up as a haro FSX.
Not convinced it is an FSX, though.
Any ideas? Serial number stamped on bottom of downtube adjacent to bottom bracket begins "H88....."

the twin toptube bit is different on the invert
or at least on that year's one
-
i dont think it is an fsx.
-
looking at it it could be a lot newer than you think
maybe a zippo
-
fsx had standing platforms on the rear drops. the front drops are diff too, more like the gen 1's i think, plus they have holes in the forks for standers.
-
Looks similar to the one I put pics of on the for sale section ???

it looks like a newer master type, stickered up as an fsx.
-
The forks are the same as were on my '92 Bash Guard Sport.
Think Andy has that now.

cheers guys, the toptube/seatstays junction is the bit that's really throwing me.
am i wrong in thinkin the "88" in the serial number refers to the year of manufacture?
i remember seeing an fst once with trimoly stamped onto the bb shell, i don't think there's anything on this one. (will double check!).

the masters had ad lugs
-
Early 90s Master... you can tell by the short toptube before it divides... The sports and fsx's were longer toptubes before they divided. Made in 91 i think. Haro didn't make that many before they changed the design again.

93 master

GMAC has an identical frame..he thought it was a Haro sport.... I posted a thread and picture of it on OS BMX last month... this was the reply:
Quote from OSBMX user Radmeon: I'm pretty sure it's a 90's Master. I'm remembering they did away with the true "twin top tube" design around then. It's got the reinforced head tube and no framestanders. Also, the fork dropout style is a dead giveaway.
???
gonna have to get my magazines out now :D Wheres my Ride and BMX Now back issues :knuppel2:
