Been havin a dig around and came across this photo of the SRE race team me and my brother used to ride for in the South West.
Not sure if there are any ex SRE riders on the forum or anyone that could help out with the names I can't remember.
I'll name who I can:
Back row left to right: Cant remember(Possibly Richard?) - Me (Matt Biles) - Can't remember
Centre - Steve Sanders of course
Bottom left to right - Bro(Andy Biles) - Melanie Osbourne - Chris Potter
Good days with the SRE team, we think this was taken in 1982, unsure where, could be the Southampton track.
Got a few more pics and a programme from the NBMXA 1983 British Championships i'll stick up when I get chance.

My brother had an SRE, these pics were taken at Poole i think. Apparently, according to him he threw his SRE top away a year or two back.

His name was Darren Morgan.
Yep i raced from 82-87/88ish but i'm 3 yrs older as was in Rob Marshall's age group. I've used him as he was pretty much No1 around the B'mouth/Poole/Southampton area so you'd of heard of Rob.

i am from poole and bitd we used to say SRE stood for Snap Real Easy :LolLolLolLol:
they were good frames though from what i remember,a mate of mine had one,i used to go in the sanders shop in lower parksone bitd.
i also know someone who claims to be restoring one but he hasnt sent me any pics yet :knuppel2:
