Title: nearly done 1997 standard trail boss
Post by: harris on January 03, 2010, 12:14 PM: nearly finished this ,seat and clamp to change and decals are only temporary..home cut suckers..
1997 standard trail boss
standard forks
standard head cups
standard stem early
standard chain tug crank side one
profile cranks and chain ring with hop up kit
peregrine super pros with upgraged king axles
comp tyres fatty front
s&m slam bars
seats being changed and clamp..
shimano rear brake with tech 77 lever.cable and pads are modern as its to ride.

i was going to change a few more bits but it rides friggin sweet just as is.the rear brake has a
torsion bar away getting re chromed but stops on a dime already.

I think they are meant to be like that. They are to hold the flex figher plate. They are off center on one side to account for different width mounts.

i got a few prototype bits from sbc last year and it was in that lot.
