i have just fitted set 3 piece cranks usa unsealed bb set with square taper bb set .with 175mm fsa arms fixed spider and fsa chainring.basically it is near on impossible to get the chainring aligned right with the rear freewheel.
there is a bobble on the axle drive side which the bearing cone tightens to this has to be tight or will work loose ,so no scope for movement here
this goes into the cups and on goes the other cone non drive side lockring and washer .basically there dont seem to be any way of adjusting one way or another at all here.then i fit the crank arm drive side and it looks way too far out by about 5 mill ,so removed and fitted washer between spider and chainring to move the chainring inwards little bit but still way out of line .arm is tight as feck too onto the sqaure axle .
given up now and pissed with it .

:) Aside from the other probs,is it a BMX specific crankset? Some road/MTB cranksets with fixed spiders have a different chainline to BMX & refuse to play ball... :daumenhoch:
