Title: Comp 3 yellow label repops
Post by: brummie on January 08, 2010, 10:26 PM: i am after some nice tyres. i dont want to spend a fortune as i ride all of my bikes ( seems a shame not too imo ) has anyone had some and what do they think?

also has anyone bought some from coloured tuffs? i was thinkin of 2 pair but am worried about the import charges?

Post by: Rodgy1970 on January 08, 2010, 10:59 PM: I bought 2 sets off him, he marked the form $50 and I still got caught for £16 in charges, £8 handling charge and £8 tax, I rang the number and queried the charge and they said it was based on the amount the package was insured for! :-\

Worked out about £55 a set, but was still happy enough with the tyres :)

When I asked him to mark down the value he didn't reply to me either - he just did it ;)

I do place a lower value on packages going overseas because I know it helps you guys out. I just don't like corresponding with anyone that specifically asks me to do so through email as I really don't know who's sending that email. Is it really a customer, or someone trying to get me to say that I'll do that.....

They're not expensive per set with 1.75's @ £16.99 each per tyre and 2.125's at £18.99 each per tyre.
