Apart form the size, what is the actual difference between a mini and a full size stem and where would it be used  :-\

on a mini bmx , youger riders had smaller frames skinny wheels etc and mini stems were for these bikes

in addition to the above, the Mini Stem is narrower and has a shorter reach
