Ok pulling apart a set of gen 3 profile cranks however the bolt holding on the profile spider to the arm is seized solid, soaked in wd40 astill no good any ideas or should i get the deadly drill warmed up
wanna send the cranks away for chroming today aaahhhhh :2gunsfiring_v1:

have you tried to tighten them half a turn - sometimes does the trick

tried all the above, jeses think hercules must of tightened this mother up :LolLolLolLol:
sod it sending it down to the chromers hopefully they can get it out, theres been a few tools getting thrown at my garage walls this morning and some expletives been used i can tell ya's :tickedoff:

Is it my chromers your sending them to Marty ? if so Dave an his Bro are mx'rs and trials specialists so give em a ring and let them know the issues, am sure they will bang it out :LolLolLolLol:

warm it up and get some molgrips on it thats what i had to do on siezed set of cranks and it came out :daumenhoch:

yeah i've given up on it paul, i've asked them to chrome the arms and profile spider as well, its fookin tight not bothered if they have to drill it, i've just posted it to them now, got a replacement bolt, fook me chucked a hammer at the wall turned round and the cat was just sat watching me, thinking what a fookin tool no doubt :LolLolLolLol:
that was when i decided enough was enough ::)
