NOS PORN.
ENJOY
Well, 1 is pure NOS, while the other does have a headset installed, and 20 inch wheels were attached, but never ridden.
First up, a pure NOS Profile Champ Mini. Never had a headset, seat post, wheels, or cranks installed or brakes. Original chrome, Original Decals. (forks are NOT original to frame), but are close to mint. Slight washer stains.

Thanks to Profile, lets throw another monkey wrench into the frame mysteries. Now, we all know these mini's were raced by Shelby James. They even had some stickered up with his name. Then you had this one, which isn't stickered up with a Shelby decal, but is still a 17.5" frame set. But with anything Profile from back then, lets not expect consistency. The Shelby stickered frame set has the smaller Top Tube, and Seat post Tube, just like the Mag Mini's, but this non Shelby stickered NOS frame has the Top Tube, and Seat post tube, the same size as a 20" Champ. Just don't get it.

Next up is a MINT, was NOS Profile 24" Champ Pro. What makes it no longer NOS, is because the headset was installed when bought new, and the previous owner put some 20" wheels on it, to see how it looked, because he didn't have a 24" wheel set.Hence, the very, very slight washer marks. Zero damage to the drop outs themselves. This frame set has never been ridden. Cranks were never installed, nor was a seat post, or clamp, or brakes. Sports Original Chrome, and Original Decals.

And yet again, another strange welding day at the Profile Plant. I have allot of frames that have some slight differences then others, and this frame set is no different. This is the first frame set Ive seen with the brake bridge welded on the top part of the seat post stay tubes. All of my other frames sets are all welded in the inside middle of the same stays.

My very early Hutch cruiser has the brake bridge welded on top of the seat stays(i know it's early as i bought this "very" used in 83/84). Not MCS , or pre serial early, but early none the less. Bearing in mind the Hutch/Profile connection maybe they are from the same era?
