Title: mk 1 tuff 2 hub help

ive aquired these lovely little steel hubbed mark 1 tuff 2's but as ive never had tuffs this old im not sure which freewheel and clip i need

ginny has quite a few but thought id ask here

also front has had the studs modified but is there a better kit or someone on here that could do a better job

You will need a 16 tooth cog , they are the same as the ones found on the old sturmly archer three speed hubs , you will also need the locking ring to hold it on . If you have trouble finding them at your LBS drop me a mail as my LBS has them in stock . The screw bolty type things in the front wheel are skyway hub repair originals  if i am not mistaken , hope this helps .  :)

Not the same as a Sturmey Archer I'm afraid they are only a three spline sprokect, that is an early cassette hub with considerably more splines.  You'll also need a lock ring for it too.  I think it's the Suntour type like this:

But I think unless someone else has one of this type it's going to be a bit hit and miss to find what you need.

The Front hub is a replacement Skyway og kit, you could replace the nut and bolts with domed ones from b&q or somewhere but then it won't be og anymore  ;)

the spring clip is a right fooker to find scoot, it might be worth spen getting you one and trying it, cos if he has a lead on em it will help alot of people out

Morning fellas - I'm guessing my brother logged on as me last night the numpty or I was more drunk than I remember as I know fook all about these sprockets but he does :crazy2:
