Title: Sugino BB advice please
Post by: monkian on February 02, 2010, 01:08 PM
Just a quickie please :-*
Anyone tell me what this is and if it's complete?
I'm thinking it's a Euro BB but not 100% Black threaded end caps ??? Stamped 1.37 x 24T.

It is indeed a euro BB, looks complete also.

The 1.37x24t is the thread details, it basically means that it is a British I.S.O. bottom bracket.

Nice bit of kit that.

Can be fooker too euro bb's. If you don't put them in the right way and don't use the locking ring then bad things can happen  ::) i fitted one to a diamond back mini pro and let my lad use it, i got a phone call about an hour later saying the crank had fallen apart  ??? so off i go and low and behold he was reet, i had forgot to put the lock ring on and it undid itself  :-[
 ;D  ;D  ;D

Motto of story - Paul stays well clear of Euro BB's now  ::)
