Title: Sat practise session with my Daughter! Few pics
Post by: bmxboy70 on February 07, 2010, 08:35 PM: Saturday morning with my daughter trying out her race bike for the first time! Plus a bit of practise for me ( a bit of pumping too decrease my lap times!?!).
These pics are from my old home town mini track, which has been improved but not really for us old schoolers! Jumps are a bit MASSIVE!

Then all of us kids persuaded the local council to build on this site! Recently it has had a major revamp mainly for the skate and stunt boys n girls but it is a fantastic facility.

Wish we had something like that here in Blackpool. The council call Blackpool a 'cycling town' . Cycling town my arse ! all they do is draw a few white lines on roads and call them cycle ways. :tickedoff:

Slowly!! Last time I brought her here Jade broke her wrist! She's says the bike too light..... :LolLolLolLol:

My 6 year old crashed quite badly on his first time around Yeadon a few months ago and hasn't been on a track since. He was on a very heavy heavy pitbike at the time, but he's now got a DK junior. He came to watch on Saturday at Bradford and seems to have got the bug again.

Thats been around a bit, think it was first owned by Steve (general lee), then went onto Rob (Pickle) then passed onto me, then Steve had it back for another build. Good to see it still knocking about and being used.......keep it quiet but all the best riders have owned it! ;D
