My eldest lad is 6. Last autumn he went round our nearest track (Yeadon) for the first time on a heavy pitbike. He had a fairly big off, landing on his head and it severely knocked his confidence. Since then we've got him a DK junior (20" wheels). He had his first go around Yeadon since the crash yesterday and he put in 15 decent laps. I'm really proud that he's overcome this mental barrier as he wouldn't set foot on any track after his crash but he's now buzzing and pestering me to take him to a track again asap.

Aye, I was pleased for him. I reckon he's still a few months off racing but I'll get him to try a novice class later this year I reckon. My bruv took a few cameraphone fotos so I'll get them off him and save them.
I reckon I'll be at Yeadon next this Friday afternoon. I want to leave Saturday free to keep the missus happy before I spend all Sunday at the Manchester WR.
