Title: performer or vertigo

got myself a gt today,but i cant decide if its a vertigo or performer .frame number makes it a 95.
whats the difference between the two,if any.

...often the Performers had the brake cable pass through the bottom of the seat tube but the Vertigo didn't

I was thinking this was a Vertigo but now I'm leaning towards Performer, can anybody tell me how to find out for sure?

its like the red framed one but it doesnt have the cable through the frame thing going on.the rear brake is in the same place as on the chrome one. :D

the one i had was early 90 s no cable through post
