Alright guys, please let me know if the Profile BB pictured will fit the modern (2000's) Redline Flight cranks.
I think they are both 19mm. I prefer the Profile BB as they are chrome and will look better on my chrome TA resto.
Assistance appreciated as always.

Nope :crazy2:
-
swap the bearings
-they dont fit as - a reline spindle is smaller than a profile chainring hole
-you have to file the spacer to get a profile chainring on.
-thats what i did.

Thanks Steve and Billy.
The seller of the Profile BB says they fit a 19mm spindle.
I have measured the Redline BB and its 19mm too. Also on amazon its says the chainwheel is 19mm, see the link below:

I think they should fit. But I could be wrong, as I am not an expert.
Cheers

I recently had to swop some flights over to profiles on a bike and I had to change everything over, the spindle was not compatible with different bearings :(
-
then, early profile stuff is 19mm
-the modern imperial rings are larger bored
?
-i think, not 100 percent sure
