Title: Will there be an Old Skool Series at Hersden in 2010
Post by: TK The Mic on February 26, 2010, 11:52 PM: Sadly, it seems that the OS group at Hersden has been on the decline in the last couple of years, and it looks like the few riders we had in 2009 have now sold their stuff and moved on to the Cruiser group.

We would like to know if there are any of you guys out there that still want to make the OS group at Hersden worth having. It was only in April 2007 that 33 riders took part in a race at the 4 man track and most of those guys use this site regularly, but last year we only had just enough to make it worth while. :'(

It looks like that the pre reg process at Hersden will come in to play for the Cruisers at Hersden, so the question is.......

WHAT ABOUT OLD SKOOL :10_2_12:

Hersden have taken the Old Skool racing as seriously as they can (because all our racing is fun) where others have just laughed you guys off.
Cheers for making this a sticky Ratty (I know you will support us evermore etc), let hope the attention seeking pays off ;D

Come on Guys and Gals (os is only £3 per meeting this year), come and support the track that Old Skoolers want to race.

First meeting of the 2010 series is SUNDAY APRIL 18TH

It's sad to see the class dissapearing though, it was so much fun with all the banging bars and banter.

Thankfully still have my PL20 Redline, the theiving scroats managed to leave that behind

the racing was the most fun i've had on a bike for years and would recomend it to anyone with an interest in OS bikes, so come on lets see if we can make 3 gates :daumenhoch:
