Title: 1982 Supergoose 2 (rider) - [FINISHED - REBUILD]
Post by: bobafett on February 28, 2010, 12:49 PM
So I wasn't 100% happy with my supergoose rider both aesthetically and more importantly how it rode  :-\

The 170mm cranks that it had were fairly era correct but were too short for riding - the wheels I had put on my daughters minigoose rider - the SX pedals hurt my feet - I wanted the renthal post for another build - and the tuff pad copies didn't stop me very well !

So it sat there in bits over the winter longing for a rebuild - so here we are.........

Changed: Pedals, Crank, Spider, Seatpost, Wheels, Tyres, Brake pads, Brake cable, Padset and added some fork decals.

Full parts breakdown...........

Great build for a rider John  :4_17_5:  but as Dean said i was expecting more from the action shots , in fact i was getting a bit worried after the incident with Shaun at Coppull  :D  ;D

Love all the changes and those wheels are just the icing on the cake  :daumenhoch:

You never know it might be faster around MK this year with all those tweeks  :D

PS do you want to sell those 'Team' forks  ???  :LolLolLolLol:

Nice one lads  :daumenhoch:

Rides great - defintely feel the difference with the 180's - brake pads need a bit of bedding in though.

Dean - as for doing 180's mate - the only 180 this bike will do with my hands on it is if I turn it round for a picture of the other side  :-[ :2funny:

And Paul........... I was too scared to get the tyres mucky on her first outing  :-[

I'll hit the fields next time and get her proper duuuuurrrrrtty  :-*

Working on a build I've wanted to do for a while this month  :-X ;)
