Its not a £1000 mongoose, its a mongoose with a £1000 price tag. Different kettle of fish.
If I put my £225,000 flat up for sale for £1,000,000 it does not become a million pound apartment. Unless it sells for a million, then different story, you could say it was worth a million to the chump that bought it. But until the goose sells it is a £400 bike with a grand tag.
Subtle but important difference.

Fook me I wouldn't pay £400 for that either, £200 tops.

You can buy one of mine for £950 if ya like and I'll hand deliver it :LolLolLolLol:
Frame with headset is worth £80 - £100
Proclass wheels - haven't seen a set sell for less than £100 lately
Proclass bars have been making serious dough on the bay lately as well
New padset and rainbow(?) comps - not far off a ton combined.......
I'd say £400 posted is about right like danny said ;)
