Okay - what is the best thing for cleaning the brake pad marks on the rims of tuffs - when a complete numpty (me about 20 years ago) has used the wrong colour pads black pads on yellow wheels - a combination that works on wasps - but not on wheels Any suggestions

500 grit wet n dry with soapy water, followed by 2000 grit to polish out
will take about 30 mins :)

just use a stanley blade at a shallow angle and scrape the residue off gently....it works a treat

Cheers - was hoping to avoid the rough stuff - but hey if it works - what the heck... By the way, the nitro worked wonders on the green paint...!
