as double chevron says, mines a late 80,s and it doesn't have the brake cable routers
or the brake mounting hole behind the b.b.

looks the same layout as my pk ripper 1988 frame, doe,s this run on a 1"stem and threaded forks.the hole behind the bb is for a pitbull brake, also only as bottom brake lugs which mine as,so would say 1988..CHECK THIS LINK http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/se_racing/6954 REGARDS LEE

i'm far from an expert but from old magazine pictures i'm sure/ish that the cable routers
didn't come out on the flovals till a few years after they did on the rippers.

Yes 1" head tube. I bought it from the States a few yrs back with the intension of building a nice OldSkool bike. Got most of the period parts but not got the time so gonna sell.

its a 90's one.the brake bridge is too near the seat tube for an earlier one
and it looks like the seat tube by the bb is drilled out for a pitbull type brake.

SE didn't put the Pitbull hole behind the BB till late 91 / early 92 so if it follows the same pattern (as that part would be common on the two frames) I would say 92. Done quite a bit of research on this as I have a Ripper XL with serial PK0008 and wanted to know when it was from. The best I came up with was the earliest a XL frame was offered for sale (XL frames were only offered with the Pitbull mount) in a BMX Plus mag price list was around April 92.

A post from a while back

Frame only needing some paint? I'd say £150.
