Title: restored z-rims
Post by: rollin72 on March 10, 2010, 09:56 PM
these were well battered when i got them
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/pp287/rollin72/LEE007.jpg)

a good rub down with 1200 wet n dry, soaked in bleach for a couple of days as there were some dark stains on them (use a cat to stir them >:D) and then dyed with rit dye and i used a wallpaper stripper to keep the mixture simmering(this was snavala's top tip) take the plate off the stripper and put the pipe in the tub, worked a treat.

gave the rims to dirty diggler to build as he loves them, got the decals off del and...
