don't bid till the last seconds, make your max bid too early and the seller can bid against it to get you to your max with days left to go.

as bad as the dodgy bidders, i get p1ssed off with the "sorry, but the dog has eaten the nos hutch pedals you won for £28" ebayers.

i won a full aero pro for around £180 but unfortunately the seller left it in the garden and someone pinched it  ;D a nice antique gold watch for £80 which , unfortunately again, was broken beyond repair whilst packing it  to be sent  ;D

  ;)

That doesn't always stop the shillers either  :(  Sometimes they already have there shill in place  >:( Had a few instances where I've thrown in a last second bid and been auto-outbid and lost the item, then miraculously the next day the seller emails me with a second chance offer cos the winning bidder "made a mistake" or "doesn't want it anymore"  ::)

OK you still have the option to take it or leave it but it p!sses you off when you know it would have been cheaper  ::)

Hey ho............
