Whats the best (if any) way to change colour on a headset??????? Have sourced a lilac hatta mx2 from the states and aint brought it yet but was hopin to (without paint) change it to black any ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could set fire to it, use a permanent marker, Crayola crayons (would come off easy though) or maybe red wine as that never comes off ;)

What about a Magicians Hat? ??? drop the headset into it,wave a wond over the top,say the magic words and when you pull it out it should in theory be black,sorted :daumenhoch:

If it's steel, Maybe heat it up and dip it oil. Or someone on here was selling that blueing stuff for tuff-neck bolts and the like.
If it's alloy just paint it.

So then, assuming the hatta is ally, then anodised, you want to sit it in something that will make it go black? (some kind of acid/chemical?) am I on the right train of thought?
If its painted steel, all you can do is burn it or paint it.
there may be a process to turn anno'd ally black, but i'd ask your local electroplaters for more `on target' advice!
neat chlorine (about 80%, tesco stripy bleach is about 1%) turned my brass plughole black, might eat the ally though!
