i know the basics dye, salt, hot water, but what do ya put it in, i used the bottom of a 250ltr plastic barrel to bleach my mags, i dont think this would be any good
to dye with as i need to keep the water at a constant heat, what have you lads used, and how long do you leave them in for. ???

To do my Z rims I used a plastic bucket from whicks and used Snavs steam stripper method.
Basically boil up some water and then use a steam wall paper stripper with the plate taken off and put the hose in the water. The steam will keep the water boiling for ab out an hour and a half :daumenhoch:

so a plastic bucket was ok with keeping the water boiling with the steamer, just have a image of the bucket collapsing with the heat. :-\

No it was fine, it was one of those 'rubble' plastic buckets with two large handles on each side....£7 in whicks :daumenhoch:
The stripper was £19 from argos which worked really well and you've always got it for anything else, or to strip any wall paper :daumenhoch:
