Title: Rounded off bolt!
Post by: magna13 on March 27, 2010, 12:16 PM: my S&M Dirtbike arrived yesterday, wanted to begin stripping it as i want it re-sprayed. went to take the Odysses Posi Clamp off that came with it but the bolt is completley rounded! :'( how will i be able to get this off? HELP

Post by: bobbysam on March 27, 2010, 01:46 PM: you can always use a hacksaw to cut a slot in the bolt, and then use a screw driver to undo it.

Post by: MartyC on March 27, 2010, 02:50 PM: Is it an allen key bolt that has rounded? See if you can get a torx drive larger than the allen head and tap it in with a hammer, then undo :daumenhoch:

if you cant sort it with a hammer you cant sort it with owt ;D
