Dunno but you see the bit of the cross bar that is flattened? That's because the original stem had a single nut/bolt holding it all tight and a almost closed clamp so to get the bars on you had to remove the bolt and slide that flat bit between the opening of the stem. The bars should also have a raised centre bulge IIRC.
