Started on next project, excuse my fook witted-ness, but not done a loopy Ripper before
could anyone date it? :serial Pk 71302
is the seat tube smaller than normal?
i need forks, i guess they should be 1" Landing Gear with 3 holes in the drop outs?
cheers :daumenhoch:

pretty sure these can't be dated from the #. :daumenhoch:
-
The serial number means nothing,
can't date it from that,
and good luck finding unstamped forks,
Gary

As above with the NO :(
And if you have a few £................. or £299 you can get NOS chrome landing gear from VERTEGO and the seat post is the same size as a raceinc put an ad in wanted for forks and post :daumenhoch:
Nice one WOODY :4_17_5:

seatpost size is 13/16th's so smaller than a std OS,
get some LG's mate, 3-hole threaded, although if you is on a budget Coloredtuffs sell retro copies, identical almost to the orignals...
can't help on the serial no. either

as for dateing, how you ment to tell the blimin year other than the serial, apart from ring counting ;D did they change em at all? its got a 19 inch tt.

Between 78/9? (The really early production sometimes had a round top tube) and 84 they didn't change in 85 the rear end becomes non looptail with straight chainstays.

theres a chap on here who should be able to help with some landing gear forks, i will nudge him
