Gaz

I would flat them now that they are dry and then again after the extra coats.  Also flat between the coats of finishing coats and clearcoat.

This technique saves any clothing from overspray & feels good on a day like it was today  :daumenhoch:

Don't do any oven pride work like this though !  :LolLolLolLol:

it's all in the prep for the final finish, on tubular work i just flood it with primer,

a couple of good wet coats and you've built up enough thicknes to flat the hell

out of it till it's smooth as silk then a couple of top coats and it should look as

smooth and sweet :daumenhoch:

ps.. dont worry about runs in the primer, look at it as thicker paint and it will fill

any marks once you've flatted it out  ;)
