Title: differences? 3/32" chains - 1/8" chains

what will they fit and what won't they fit please?

3/32 chain will only fit 3/32 sprockets.
1/8 chain will fit either 1/8 or 3/32 sprockets.

Big lumps like me can stretch or break either!

A 3/32 chain won't fit on a Sugino chainring - I know cos I've tried  ::)

Takagi, Shimano, Tioga (all the same thing) some Tuf Neck? You'll be able to feel it, just pinch it between your fingers and they'll feel skinnier than a Sugino and Suntour.

From what I remember when I used to ride, Sugino, SR etc were generally 1/8, and the Tuf Neck ones were 3/32.
3/32 sprockets and chain were always recommended for racing due to the weight saving of their lower rotating mass.

3/32 " chains wont fit over some freewheels either,shimano ones will fit 3/32" chains :daumenhoch:
