No I have just been speaking to Skyway...

The front axles are all wrong on them.

Comments: 1.   I have just purchased a set of Tuff 2’s in the U.K. and they appear to have 2 rear axles fitted to the Wheels.  Having had numerous sets of Skyways over the Years I just wondered what was going on and whether you could supply me with the correct Axle to fit to my front Tuff. I require the 1 with the flats on it about 140mm in length. So that I can fit them to my 1985 Skyway Streetbeat.  I have another set of Wheels in the post and I am envisaging having the same problem with them. So I will need 2 front axles.
> 2.   I  Have heard that you may be releasing colored tuffs with a coaster brake.  Is this correct?

Thank you for your purchase of genuine Skyway Tuffwheels!

The exclusive distributor for the U.K., Coyote Sports, specifically requested that all wheels have 175 mm axles in front and rear.  I do not have axles with flats on them. I have to think someone in the U.K. could help get you the type of axle you prefer.

I would not be surprised to see us making coaster brake wheels in colors but nothing is on the production schedule right now.  If a customer comes to us with an order large enough, we will take it to production.

Thank you again for your support!

Sincere regards,

And cut them down 35 mm aswell with a hacksaw.  Yeah I thought about that but it will remove all the protective 'Cadmium Coating' (not annodising Dope :2funny:) so they will corrode.  Dirty Rust :knuppel2:

Go to Colored Tuffs website or Vertigo (you get that from the prices) and get an axle re-build kit:

That is the one that you'll need for the sealed Tuff Wheels.
