Title: Goose help

Friend has a 81 goose foreign made with the little sticker saying all tubes cromo

so what could it be , which frames were all cromo ,its the gussetted behind the seat tube,and all the welds look the same with decent welds on the rear

he wants to get rid so we need to know what he has

If the "all tubes" decal is OG then it's probably a supergoose - could be a team but there would be some remnants of red or blue candy knocking around  ;)

What's the serial number ? Is there a flat on the rear chain stay ? How many holes in the brake bridge ?

When you say "foreign made" you mean US made right ?  ???

serial starts F1 and the sticker is genuine its deffo chrome and its never been painted, so the F means foregin and the 1 means 81 right ?

F = June
1 = 81

They stopped putting the "T" stamp in the serial on the teams/supers mid 81 so you have to check for the flat on the rear stay and/or the 3 holes in the brake bridge to confirm it's a super/team frame but if like you say the "all tubes" decal is OG then it's a good bet that it is.

Make sure you get the brake bridge and the bottom of the rear stay where it meets the dropout on the drive side  :daumenhoch:
