:) For a 16"bike you`d probably want a 140-150mm crank.Profile do`em otherwise you`ll be looking at flimsy alloy racecranks.Try and make sure you get the correct size gearing, maybe a 28/13 would be suitable?

I've got a 24t profile here, 1 of the teeth is cracked. But my 8 year old has been running it for ages with no problems. PM me if your interested :daumenhoch:

Gearing is a dark art, My son's 18 inch bike came with 25-9 gearing which I thought would be OK. But with the short cranks at 150mm It was hard work. Swapped to 24-9 and he liked it. He is a bit bigger now and wanted a gold theme so has gone to 25-9 and seems OK. Still feels strange to me. I run 30-11 on a 20 inch.
