Kinda look a bit like one of the styles of lesters that were available, once the webbing is removed :-\
Autosol brings them up quite nice or you could have them painted since they came in various colours BITD.
Where they beyond repair then I take it ? :(
-
No he bought them Nos off Alans bmx ;)
-
;D your going to get em shot !!
-
yeah one was broken , and i swopped my good one i offered you boba for a part cut one . so its all good
now give them some :smitten:
-
autosol with the finest grade wire wool you can find, then autosol with a polishing cloth, then "mothers" with a polishing ball on a drill, they will really shine :daumenhoch:
look up MOTHERS on the net it's an american polish that we use on hotrods and customs
-
cheers ill have a look for that mate
-
So , was one perfectly ok and you cut the webbing out ? .
-
no mate , i traded my good one for one that had bits cut out of it

So two good wheels outs of two broken ones, sounds like a fair trade off to me otherwise they might both have ended up in the skip :daumenhoch:

:daumenhoch: look nice imo, will they be strong enough to ride on though ??? would have thought the webbing gave structural stability...
-
yeah , dont quote me on this like !! BMX products claim the webbing was only there to keep kids from putting their fingers in the spinning wheel. So the wheel should be fine to ride structurally. its what it says in boba's link aswell .
-
They look like Mk 1 Piranha wheels. :daumenhoch:
-
acorn freestyle wheels is what they are hes sprayed em to look like moto mags :uglystupid2:
-
look like alli tuff 1's.
it's better than binning them i suppose.
just polish them like anything else alli .
