do you remember phil kennedy remembers riding against you at sobel vcentre holeshot in about 86 rode against jason lun and jason hasle and he came 4th
says you rode against craig campbell and terry jenkins
he drinks in me dads and keep telling him to start riding again and last night he did about 30 mins with me he seemed pretty good to say he hadnt ridden for 12 years or so .he rode for haro bitd up to about 91 from 86/87

I think it was Jan 85 the one that I rode in, the 1st Holeshot comp at Sobel, in fact it was the last time that I rode a bmx up untill August 2004  :(

Thats right, i rode in the next  one and that was the end of 85 with the Hro trick team Demo, Rons up for about an hour at that one!!

Yep just checked the date, it was Dec 29th 1984, so I gave up after that comp then  :daumenhoch:

the lad im on about got sponsored by haro after this comp then started riding a black team haro everywhere .thought hed have been well known if he was any good and finishing 4th is not bad i thought

Who was he on the team with????? I remember most of the riders up till 91 but cant put a face to that name......got any pics???

i think theres some pics of him that orbs got on his computer .not sure who he rode for then but def got sponsored by haro after this comp as near as .rode vert a lot if that helps on black haro

I have just had a look through all the old UKBFA membership up to end of 1986 and there's no mention of Phil Kennedy - but the name does ring a bell.

Simon. Start the UKBFA up again. That would great!  After all, if I'm not mistaken, i think I did pay for a lifetime membership, so i should be entitled to complain about the lack of 'nationals' lately :LolLolLolLol:
