right chaps ive got a set of dx`s that i want to do in gold, but want it a close colour match to the original DX GOLD colour, has anybody done any?

someone is selling some gold dx hubs that have been painted and the colour looks good to me ;)

i have some gold candy laquar thats very near, but its very glossy, the original DX's where painted in a satin finish, apparently B+Q do a aerosol that looks very close... :)

sorry i dont, its glass paint, so i suppose its best to just go in B+Q and ask....

Sam,is it the gold you did the hubs in(the black Araya 1.5 wheels i bought from you?)... if it was,as Sam says,very glossy,but a damn good colour.

I've got some gold DX too wouldn't mind finding a match to re spray them
Just glass painted a set in blue too, thought they ended up looking like victors :crazy2:
,,, really spoiled them imho,,, nitromorsing them again this weekend :(

yep! thats the colour!!!!
if in doubt, just spray them satin black steve, it looks bang on with the original finish....
