Title: removal of sealed BB bearings **help please**

hi all can some one tell me the best way to get the BB out of my frame they
are sealed with redline single pinch

dont want to damage them as they will be forsale

Use a socket set extension bar and whack em out from the opposite side, try to hit the cups only so you dont damage the bearings

Every used set you see for sale will say 'usual whack marks on bb from removal'....  :LolLolLolLol:

Bearing cups are usually Alloy, so if you want to remove them with out damage...use a "softer" material to remove them.

I made a removal tool out of a bar of copper....it does take a long time to get out (the Socket extention is the fastest option) and you will still have the odd little mark.

There's loads of copper bar on the bay  :daumenhoch:
