Title: chainring problem!!
Post by: telelogic on May 09, 2010, 05:11 PM
Hi All,

I'm trying to change the chainring on my Funn Hooka DH cranks.

I've bought a Sinz 4 bolt chainring which I was told (by the shop I perchased it from) would fit.

the problem is that the sinz one is thicker than the hooka chainring I've taken off!

the bolts that came off the the funn chainring  are too short to go through all that thick metal off the sinze.

is it just that I need longer bolts or should the new ring be as thin as the old one?

any help would be much appreciated, and get me out of the funk that I now find myself in  :-\

you probably need some middle or inner ring bolts which are that little bit longer  :daumenhoch:

like Bob says, check your LBS  :daumenhoch:
