Title: What kinda rear brake do I need?

Im just about to start restoring a '99 GT Vertigo/Performer for my kid, it has 2 pins on the lower chainstays to fit a brake to but not sure of the type to buy (pic below), any info would be appreciated, would something like a DC fs 990 brake fit, is it the correct type of brake? Never done anything with mid bikes before so please excuse my ignorance ;D

yep a ad990 or fs990 will fit fine and is deffo mid school :daumenhoch:

Cheers, thought that style of brake looked correct, my kid Kieran is picking all the parts for his bike so not sure how it will turn out, gonna be white/blue i think ;D

Are the Vertigo and the performer framesets identical as I have a Performer decal set which would look good on it once it comes back from getting fresh powdercoat.
