I got what i belive to be a hutch donut (came on that goose trickstar)
i have just polished it up - went to get a new bolt for it but ? it seem to be a different thread size cut into the clamp - i was going to use a m8 30mm new bolt
so was the bolt used on hutch stuff different to now ?
any one have a spare bolt for sale ?
any info boys ? please help

possibily 5/16 UNC.

if my 5/16 UNC tap turns up from Snap On tomorrow,i'll try to remember to let you know.

Its deffo not Metric.....outside europe...no bugger uses it
I would say UNC is a safe bet as they were made in the US by US engineers.

a stem bolt would do it, like Dave said , 5/16 x 1" UNC

so it's deffo a 5/16 x1" that i need ?
any one have a hutch donut clamp ? and is it a gen 1 - which one did the stamp with a H and did they put Hutch on it - any info ?

any hutch clamp with ANYTHING stamped into it is not US made... Hutch Hi Caliber,

9/16 UNC bud as far as I know . Had 2 get 1 4 one of mine ;)

so link above is what i'm looking for - just want to get this right ;) (it's like trying to find the right size nut to go into tange clamps ;D)

I ain't the best though.
And the bonus is you get some fresh stem bolts out of that 6 pack too. Fits most USA made OS stems, don't force the friggers though.

just to conform,i got my tap from Snap On today,i can confirm it is 5/16 unc. wound straight in. Not a bad price, £5.52.
