I've got a set of bars i need chroming for mk10, the time has flown & i did'nt realise it was so soon & i don't think i will be able to get them done in time with the place near me as they are very busy & quite unreliable, does anyone know anyone who may be able to sort this in time if i can send them & pay the postage to post em back, many Thanks Lee :daumenhoch:

Yep, rschrome, the home of chrome! did some bars for me earlier this year. Stripped, chromed (beautifully) and re-posted to me for £40 all in. Took about a fortnight to get em back.

Hmmm,I used RS Chromers a couple of years ago (a pair of Landing Gear forks and a seat post) and it took 'em 3 months! And they charged me an extra tenner :-\. Hopefully they've got their act together now.

I used Hampshire Elctro Plating Company in Portsmouth/southampton way, and they were superb. They used to do the old Rickman stuff BITD Ithink. anyway, they were only about £110 for a frame to be done which aint bad,and finish was good. Geoff Cain had his Gen 1 re done there and it was spotless.
Stidds also uses a good company in Bristol, I forget their name though.
