Question for all you Radsters out there, Suntour XCII pedals which are the earlier ones braced or un-braced, what year are we talking for the braced and what year for the un-braced
I am sure one of you fluffy bunnies out there must know :daumenhoch:

Difficult one this, Suntour had early XC I's with a brace, then they went braceless, then they issued the XCII braceless and then back to a brace. Apparently there is a thread all about it on the BMX Museum site but I don't go there say can't say what they say :daumenhoch:

i read a thread on this on bmxsociety, can't remember whats what though but it did say

i always understood it as braced early, un-braced later? same deal with the screws, suntour on the screws= early and plain screws=later ???
-

would like to know which is which myself.
and which cages went on which pedals. i got both the rounded teeth sort and the pointed ones.

These first generation Suntour BMX/MTB pedals had extremely sharp teeth, a feature that was eliminated in later models.

These Suntour "beartrap" style pedals were prized by both BMX riders and early mountain bike riders.
