Bought this f+f ages ago from someone on here, cant remember who. Anyway I was clearing out the garage when my son Kieran spotted all my bmx stuff lying outside, I had all the parts purchased to build it in black with gold parts but the wee man claimed it for his next bike. As I have an '86 performer in white he wanted a white one too but with blue parts. Sent the frame away for powder 2weeks ago and got it back this morning so I made a start. His choice of bits with a little help from me. I have got white and blue A'mes which I have to try and convince him to put on but he loves the blue/white mushies ::) Never done a mid before so here goes!

They are cracking bars kev, nice n wide, thinking of swapping them with a set of nos win ones I have in the shed and keeping the GT's for myself, Fischflo, Kieran is buying into the older bmx bikes big time, he's riding a 1984 mini burner (sorry, hope that's not a swear word over here) ;D Got a pr of blue early tuffs to go on it, not sure how they will look but again it is what he wants ::)

well, he sure looks like he's having a blast on his burner! My boy hardly ever rides bike let alone his bmx -- i wonder if he would really miss the red tuffs.... ::) Nice pics, great to see it's also kids getting into it, not just erm 'older' guys :)

:daumenhoch: cracking bike for the youngun
-
Cant get him off it, every day after school without fail ;D

Got it built up yesterday with spoked wheels, dyed a set of old tuffs today which Kieran wants on the bike. I think they will look pretty good as the colour is better than these rims, gonna take some pic's tomorrow with them on and maybe have a vote off ;D

Here goes, I was attracted to this topic for purely wholesome reasons, I am NOT fixated by 7 year olds despite owning/operating a beard. Here follows pictures of my eldest lad and his cutesy ride...... Some nice parts on it i'm sure you'll agree..
