Title: Original Bikes Ridden By 80's Old School BMX Hero's
Post by: sweetbeats on May 29, 2010, 12:14 AM
A while ago I was blown away when I seen Beards homage and resto to one of his BMX hero's Craig Schofield-amazing story-Great Rider and Full of BMX Nostalgia Goodness....anyways I was having a beer earlier and was wondering what Original BMX Star ridden bikes, parts, frames and forks are still doing the rounds in the Rad Vaults?
Not modern stuff as don't know any of the riders...vintage 80's rider ridden race or freestyle bits/bikes f&f-don't have to be your own though just stuff in existence that is RAD AS FOOK.....OOOOOH YEAHHHH  :coolsmiley:

I can't even remember how it came about now, but I think it was Xavier Mendez that sorted it through various people - Mike D with a Mike D '84 Sport (them's my old forks)

I have (but will be returning) Craig Schofield's World Championship Winning Bike...  :daumenhoch:

I also have Craig's ORIGINAL training bike (frame & forks.. Chrome Aero Pro  :coolsmiley: ) which I get to keep as a thank you for restoring his World's bike.

Craig's a legend and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity of a lifetime in restoring a piece of BMX history....  :4_17_5: :Great_Britain:
