Most Decoster forks have them the other way round but I think the bike he's replicating had them that way.

Now that is bloody fan-fookin-tastic. Why's it badged as a Motomag when it's a Team though....... :idiot2:

Has it been superchromed ? If so the burner boys replicate this finish for about £70 .......>So if you have a decent nickel goose bob's yur uncle :daumenhoch:
-
So is it paint to replicate a Nickel plate finish or was the original some kind of Gold Candy? ???
Whatever it is, I like it. 70's Rock & Roll man 8)

Very Tasty :daumenhoch:

I'm another that doesnt like it
S&M got the gold finish right with the LTF frame
-
it's nice on a 70's bike.
-
Looks good and spot on for the year :daumenhoch:
-
How good does that look :smitten:
although if I was being picky the colour of the older frames he's put up on his original post in the US looks a lot more bronze than gold :-\
-
but is it as nice as the red and blue?

Well the 77 / 78 early team geese didn't have a team decal on them.
Even the late 79 teams had a "short prism" decal that didn't say "team" wasn't till around early 80-ish that they got the "team" decal :)
Early supergoose 1 frames had the "short prism" decal too.
Up to now that decal hasn't been reproduced by BMX products though but apparantly it is in the pipeline :)
1977/78 team with "standard" decals :

1979 team frame with "short prism" decal without "team" wording :

Yeah, but the Team didn't have the white Motomag sticker on the downtube Jonnygoose...
Still love the colour though - awesome!
